We are very excited to once again sponsor Burnsville Traveling Baseball. This will be our third straight year of giving to this great organization. Our donation helps over 250 kids participate in the traveling baseball program. Enjoy your season!

Lucky 7! 7k, Join our staff this Saturday!

Our staff will be participating in the Lucky 7! 7k on Saturday. Come cheer on Dr. Sculley, Dr. Hurst, Carol, Hannah, Veronica, and Grace as we take on St. Patrick's Day festivities.

2012 and we are full steam ahead! We spent the last three months updating our look and website. We are excited to be rolling it out in 2012! We plan to blog weekly about our company, customers, products, services. We are especially proud of our partnership with local communities. If you have a sporting team, school event, or fundraiser let us know; we would be happy to help.

In 2012 we will celebrate FVC's 10 year anniversary! Thank you for your support over the past 10 years!

Avenues for Homeless Youth

Information About Youth Homelessness in MN

Wilder Research estimates that, on any night in the state of Minnesota, 2,500 youth and young adults are homeless and unaccompanied by an adult. In any year, 10,000 youth experience homelessness in Minnesota.

Youth homelessness has jumped 46% in Minnesota since 2006, according to Wilder Research’s latest count in October 2009.

Don’t know what to do with those old or non-working holiday lights? Making the switch to energy efficient LED holiday lights? Recycle your old lights with our unique holiday light recycling program!


Recycle Your Holidays™ is a one-of-a-kind statewide holiday light recycling program in Minnesota. Residents can drop-off their unwanted light strands at FVC during the holiday season starting November 15 and running through the end of January each year.

This program employs over 200 individuals with developmental disabilities at vocational centers throughout the state of Minnesota. Every bulb of the light strand is dismantled by vocational center clients and then properly recycled in Minnesota.

Congratulations to Carol and Sara for completing their first 5k! The weather was great for an early morning run. A Turkey Trot record was set....most runners in any MN event for 2011. AMAZING!! We are planning on another trot next year. Anyone ready to sign up?

FVC is asked to donate to schools and organizations in our community. We are happy to help whenever asked.Please email or call with your requests. Here are a few organizations we have helped in 2011.

  • Donation to Prior Lake Girls Gymnastic to help provide equipment and travel for the team.
  • Several cases of artificial tears to a group going to Iringa Tanzania from St James Lutheran church in Burnsville.
  • Sponsored a table for On the Move MS Luncheon. The On the Move Luncheon helps provide scholarships to local students with multiple sclerosis or those who have a parent with MS to continue post-secondary education. www.nationalmssociety.org.  
  • Sunglasses for silent auction for Amnion crisis Pregnancy Center providing free and confidential services. 952.898.HELP (4357). www.amnioncpc.org.
  • Maui Jim sunglasses donation for Foundation 191 golf tournament. The mission of Foundation 191 is to enhance, enrich and expand educational opportunities within the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage school district. www.foundation191.org.
